Nancy Lane has been an artist and illustrator for 30 years. She graduated from the Maryland Institute, College of Art with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration and Design in 1983, and studied Children’s Book Illustration and Typography at the Parsons School of Design in New York City. Whether in the field or in the studio, the subjects Nancy chooses to paint are about empathy for nature and animals. She has illustrated six Gryphon Press books.
