Joe Hyatt has been creating art since he was old enough to put crayon to the wall and occasionally paper. His frescoes weren’t met with rapturous enthusiasm by my parents, and soon he dedicated myself to paper and canvas only. After many years in advertising, both on the creative and sales sides, Joe committed to illustration fully in 2003. His portraits of dogs are in collections around the country. He illustrated two Gryphon Press books, the award-winning Buddy Unchained, and Maggie’s Second Chance.
