Mary-Ann Stouck was a retired Associate Professor of Humanities at Simon Fraser University. She is the editor of Medieval Saints: A Reader (University of Toronto Press, 1999) and the author of numerous essays and studies on saints' lives and Middle English literature. She is the author of the Gryphon Press book, Jeannie Houdini: A Hamster’s Tale. Mary-Ann Stouck passed away in 2020, but Jeannie's message lives on: hundreds of students at Commonwealth Charter Academy in Pennsylvania have read her book as part of their curriculum.
